ANATHEMA's DANNY CAVANAGH To Support OCTAVIA SPERATI On Select UK Shows

March 20, 2008

Norway's OCTAVIA SPERATI has issued the following update:

"We are happy to announce that Danny Cavanagh from dream rockers ANATHEMA will be special guest to the band's shows in Doncaster and London on our tour in April. Danny will bring his guitar and play some classic ANATHEMA songs and covers in an intimate, acoustic setting. Silje [Wergeland; OCTAVIA SPERATI vocalist] will be joining him for a few songs during his set."

Commented Silje: "We've played together once before when Danny was doing a solo show in my hometown Bergen a few years ago, and it was a great time for all involved. We have not chosen what songs we will play together yet, and there will be no time for rehearsal before this, so anything might happen at the shows! I can promise you that Danny will bring in beautiful elements of melancholy and ethereal music with his warm voice and his guitar!"

OCTAVIA SPERATI's UK tour dates:

April 03 - Swindon, UK - 12Bar
April 04 - Keitiring, UK - Sawyers
April 05 - Doncaster, UK - Leopard
April 06 - Southampton, UK - Joiners
